Financial Aid in India
Relatively speaking, cost of education is low in India. Government institutions heavily subsidize education and charge only nominal fees, far below the actual costs. Beyond this, little financial assistance is available. Many private institutions demand a hefty entry fee, plus significant annual fees. International students from North America or Europe would find these fees quite acceptable, if not downright cheap. A vast majority of international students in India come from the Middle East, Africa and other Asian counties.
Cost of living feels quite high for local students, but international students would find the costs quite acceptable.
Employment while in school is not a common practice. However, some program may require summer training, offering none to nominal financial rewards.
